As Telangana caretaker chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao appears to be coasting towards victory, the joint Opposition - Mahakutami - will be no pushover, India Today's Political Stock Exchange (PSE) finds. The TRS government has gained four per cent in a month, with 48 per cent of respondents backing the present government for the next term as compared to 44 per cent last month, the survey reveals.

The poll shows a similar trend in the number of voters seeking change of government. As many as 38 per cent voters say the government should change. A month ago, it was 34 per cent. The survey also shows that more voters have come out to express their views as 14 per cent of the respondents, down from 22 per cent, ticked the "no opinion" category when asked about the next government.

If TRS Losses, KCR Will Join With BJP: Owaisi

The Owaisi brothers are not stopping from making controversial statements. Couple of days back they criticised Chandrababu Naidu, BJP and its leaders. But for the first time they have made interesting remarks on caretaker CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Addressing a rally in the city, Akbaruddin Owaisi said, "He (KCR) worked for Telangana and us. So we are supporting him in the elections. But if TRS losses, KCR will go and join hands with Modi (BJP). So be cautious and vote wisely."

Seems like the Owaisi brothers are also making smart moves noticing the political strategies of KCR and pre-poll buzz in the state. Though many surveys are preferring TRS, a hidden survey predicts that it would be a hung.

If that's the case MIM party might turn crucial. This is the reason the Owaisi brothers are claiming that the next government will be in their hands.

kcr will form an alliance with bjp in loksabha.
