TBH India lo ala vesukoni thiruguthe, you are bound to get comments like that. Indian society is largely conservative and when women step out of line, comments like this serve as a reminder of the place they are in. If this guy did not comment this way, every girl will do it tomorrow. It sets a dangerous precedent.

Whom does she want to be judged by? Her Instagram/Twitter is open to everyone and commoners can be irrational. What does she want to achieve by posting that? May be her thinking was that she would appear cool dressing that way, but that guys thinking would be “women who dress like that are women of ill repute”. If she is right, so is he. This comment is being highlighted because a guy said it;however, a lot of women are not alright with other women showing skin. They do feel uncomfortable when seeing pictures like this. Reason why India is so conservative is not only men being that way, but also women being that way as well. Anthendhuku, if a wife catches her husband turning his head toward a minimally dressed woman, you can guarantee that he will see 3 types of hell that day.

In movies, she wears all kinds of dresses... May be she is just comfortable with what she is wearing... we should never judge a person on what she/he wears. Yes there is dress code, you have to follow. There is dress sense you have to maintain dignity, depending on the occasion. Here she is just getting out of her own vehicle, she is going on her personal work. Would you want to judge someone how they dress up at their own comfort. How long was she there on public roads show casing her skin. The world of internet is different from the reality and photos as well. It’s all up to her how she wants to defend herself. Who are we to tell how she should be just because we are part of so called conservative society.

Would you be okay if your husband/boy friend turned his head to look at a skimpily dressed woman? Where does dressing sense end? Today she is dressed like that, tomorrow someone else will roam around naked. Is that okay too? Are the boundaries arbitrary? Women would commit genocide if their husbands were allowed to froth publicly at scantily clad women. So choose one. You cannot have it both ways i.e. you cannot have a society where women are dressed as they like, and the men are the second incarnation of Lord Rama.
