Out of all visa requests raised by Cognizant, the USCIS rejected 3,548 petitions and this remains the highest rejection number for the year 2018.

US Immigration rejected 2,042 visa requests of Infosys and 1,744 of TCS. Only 6 Indian companies (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Tech Mahindra and HCL) in a total of 30 Companies raised foreign worker visa in the USA, and only 16 percent of total visa requests raised by these 6 companies got approved, i e just 2,145 approvals.

2018 Initial approvals for WITCH = 500 + 528 + 69 + 273 + 196 + 579 = 2145.

2018 Initial denials for WITCH =  1405

However, the initial approval rate for WITCH 2018 =  2145/3550 = 60.45%. WHERE DO THESE GUYS GET 16% rate?

 

Witch continuing approvals 2018 = 29638

Witch continuing denials 2018 =  8742

Continual approval rate for WITCH 2018 = 29638/(29638+ 8742) = 77.22%

2018 initial approvals for amazon = 2399, which is greater than all  WITCH intial approvals in 2018.

That is: 21% initial denials. Hope they are reallocating these denied visas.
