A curfew has been announced and military troops deployed in India's Assam and Tripura states as people took to the streets in response to the bill that would make it easier for non-Muslim refugees from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan to gain citizenship in the country. The parliament passed the bill on Wednesday, and has been challenged in the Supreme Court.

What is the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill?

"After hours of intense debate, the Lok Sabha (lower house) passed The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019 on Monday (December 2). The legislation seeks to make it easier for non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan to gain citizenship in the country. The legislation is applicable to groups who arrived in India on or before December 31, 2014." — Economic Times

Assam, andhra, tamil nadu, even punjab are conquered areas. Delhi is the empire - it did not conquer but got it for free form british. illegitimate country. Flooding assam with bengali hindus (because they are "hindus" as if it matters at all we can see everyday here each at other throats depending on region and caste) and leaving assamese as decisionless in their own land.
