Why is strangling a human more culpable than strangling a cat? It is the same offense.

ethically speaking even domesticating an animal should be considered an offense....

I don't see a cat in video but everyone would react in similar manner when such things happen like the one posted recently where multiple young women strangled a pet cat to death by stepping on it's neck one by one.

That was done by some trailer-park trash people in Honduras 5 years ago to get paid by the dark web where some sick people have a fetish to watch animal abuse videos. The girls lined up and walked over the kitty taking turns like a DEMO to show how an animal can be tortured and killed for the satisfaction of the viewers of the video.

The truth behind cat stomping video -

CATS ARE LION-KINGS/QUEENS BY BIRTH !!

How come miserable/lowly/beggarly/slavish/psycho humans abuse and kill a Royal Princess cat like that? Gruesomely torture and kill a little 4-month old baby kitten for a few dollars?? Why couldn't they work as hookers instead for a living? Oh wait, they are HOOKERS already by birth! That shows how lowly they are showing their ableism on a helpless, powerless, defenseless baby.

RIP you Angel - this CRUEL world does not deserve to have you!

Nope! Animals are much safer indoors. Cats don't want to step outside even for a few seconds. There are dangers lurking outdoors - predators, traffic, fleas, ticks, mites, diseases, food shortage, clean water shortage, inclement weather conditions...

And that's how it is supposed be... survival of the fittest..

This is very excuse each and every proud owner of exotic animals comes up with too

This is second incident in that city in recent times. Those cops should have been better trained considering last incident. And this would have been avoided. I hope situation comes under control soon.

You are mistaken. There is a reason why cats and dogs are domesticated as pets for CENTURIES which you don't know. Human beings have not added anything new to domestic animals/pets since the 11th century. Cats and dogs are SAFE pets.

Would you raise a lion or a wolf or a hyena or a cobra as a domestic pet? There is a reason why they are not adopted as domestic pets. They are aggressive and dangerous with animal instincts as they grow up and belong in the wild.

I'm not talking about exotic animals here (there is always a weird kid on the block with a pet rat / cockroach).

All minorities should stay together and understand each other. See hard core trump supporter forums or far right forums, they don't even see indians or blacks as human. In the past too, it was exposed that many law enforcement officers were part of an fb group sharing memes against minorities

It's not about being aggressive or  non aggressive one's i was saying in terms of ethics...

Didn't we just domesticated them for our own use .... dogs were bred for hunting and protection

and cats for rodent control..
