the institutions where gender assumptions are allowed to fester are where people are not challenged enough because it is 'impolite' to do so.

men chala mandi protective towards family untaru and fight for them.. they are good but some of them think it is easy to vent out frustration on women just cause they know they are already supressed enough in society

Main point - Respect Women!! they are already fighting with lot many unfair situations already and dont judge women on false assumptions created by sick insecure people..

I think that's where everyone gets it wrong. RESPECT is not required.

it is the thing that corrupts all institutions. even kids don't need to respect their parents. It is the one thing that is a cancer in our society. you can love a person. you can challenge a person with the truth. engage in good faith conversations and debates. But no need for respect.

men protect their family because they want to control that family. simple. There's nothing respectable about it.

if one can't do it, just switch off from that institution, and do your own thing. let that institution die. don't try to change it and keep it alive. not anyone's job really. bad things must die.
