Like I said there are two types of immune responses, innate immunity and adaptive immunity. Innate immunity is what is causing the cytokine storm. Adaptive immunity is what will give you immune memory and make it so you won't need a vaccine anymore. Ippudu e treatment chesevallaki immunosuppressants ivvadam valla future lo vaccine ventane ivvakudadu, because vaccine works for the activation of adaptive immune response.

Basic ga coronavirus ki evarevariki adaptive immune system prime avtundo evarevariki kado depends on your genes.

So what kinda immunity do these teas and supplements increase?

HIV is a virus that attacks a type of immune cells called regulatory T cells. Not all viruses are the same. Coronavirus binds with hepatocytes of the lung, it doesn't affect the immune system.

lol, i knoe each virus mechanism of action is different but virus immune system ni destory cheyandam ledu anedi correct kadu..

It binds to the ACE2 receptors and these are not only available on liver but other places as well.

Nuvvu antunna cytokin strom is the second stage of virus after it spreads..

Viruses attack different cells, each virus attacks different cells depending on where it binds with. Coronavirus binds with the ACE receptor of the hepatocytes, which will help them bind with the lung. There are also some treatments with ACE2 inhibitor in market that will prevent the virus from binding with the hepatocytes. There are a lot of papers published already that the cause of death in COVID-19 cases, is actually due to cytokine storm i.e., overreaction of the immune system to the virus.

ACE2 receptors are present on hepatocytes. That's why there is one kind of treatment with ACE2 inhibitors.

Already ACE2 receptor inhibitors market unte why dont doctors give them and save people and there would be no pandemic kada its not that simple..

Because the virus is not what is causing the death, it's the cytokine storm. ACE2 inhibitor kottaga chesaru, after they found out that coronavirus spike protein is binding with ACE2 receptor, they are trying to get it into market after clinical trials.

I am not quite sure actually.

Both according to this.. ( for ginseng tea).

Our results showed that GOP was able to enhance innate and adaptive immune responses in mice by improving cell-mediated and humoral immunity, macrophage phagocytosis capacity and NK cell activity.

If it does increase innate immunity then people with autoimmune diseases such as arthritis and asthma should not be consuming these things  ..

I actually don't understand the mechanism of how the oligopeptides increase macrophages phagocytosis capacity. I mean, basically they are saying that macrophages can eat better if there are oligopeptides?

Innate immunity is also not bad. We have it because we need it, the problem is overreaction. You can find out if you will have overreaction to covid-19 or not by typing your HLA type. But this process is time consuming.

Now that they decreased his natural immunity, would they give him antibiotics to counter any bacterial infections/pneumonia?

Immunosuppressants have side effects, like people who have autoimmune diseases take immunosuppressants. They cannot be exposed to infections, they cannot get flu shots, they need to be as clean as possible. Giving them antibiotics will work, but will seriously affect their life, because remember there is microbiota in your stomach, which is actually good bacteria that is supposed to help your immune system.

Few days ago they warned people not to use azithromycin for Covid. I am now wondering if it could be used for treatments like this.
