It’s time

I think it’s time..

Its high time..

You should start reading Das Capital. Better late than never..

I don't support socialism or communism. I just think privilege is real, and I was fortunate to be where I am. He disagrees because he just thinks I used the opportunities that are presented to me, and used them wisely.

I will assume you are referring to democratic socialism. If you look at these ideologies(political) they all have good parts you both might like. You can talk about them.
The problem with socialism in real word is it never truly worked. Countries progressed not like capitalistic ones, what contemporary democratic socialists say is that they take good parts from old school socialist practices and reject any that are bad.

This is exactly my point, but he thinks privilege is not real, since people's life is a result of choices they make. That even if someone is born poor, they can improve their life if they make good life decisions.

roughly 1 in 100 who born in poor become uber rich...that magic doesn't apply for all...

poor people become rich by working hard is carrot bait to blindfolded horse...by rich people to become more rich....

how rich people live in rich bubble...poor people also in some kind of bubble...they easily fall for this bait...

You don't need to be Uber rich, but you don't have to be poor anymore if you make good life choices.

@picchifruit said it perfectly..there is nothing more to say. If u understand it thats all.

The argument is real, apparently he is more conservative than me.

I am not even talking about politics. I am just taking about the idea of privilege. I think privilege is real, and he thinks it's not. I think that some people are more fortunate to be where they are, and he thinks that people get where they are depending on the life decisions they make, he doesn't believe in fortune, he only believes in being at the right time in the right place.
