I never worked in India, I came to the US right after school and I have only been in the US for a decade now. I don't know how my life would be in a parallel Universe had I been in India, but I don't regret my decision of coming here.

Traffic issues are not unique to India only..

And no not everyone can choose to stay close to work location, esp a lot of middle class people can't afford living in places like Manikoda, Gachibowli which are close to Hitech city anymore due to the exorbitant real estate prices in those areas.
zarathustra
I am personally in touch with a lot of my friends from school days who I grew up with. Oka sari India ellipodam anukuntunna ani chepthey 3 years back they all messaged me asking me to re-consider, a lot of them including the super wealthy guys want to get out of India. One of them is even looking at the EB5 route to come to the US, reason cited is for better educational opportunities for higher education in the US for his kids. So yeah staying in India might look great from a distance, but I am sure my life was better off coming to the US instead of staying back in India.
