Only if you are "aam aadmi".

If you are Mallya, Nirav Modi or one of those people you will get banks throwing thousands of crores as loans at you.

Well that's a problem

In India cause one idiot defaults the loans and it's tough to get loans for every one

Well the laws are not implemented well enough

This happens not just in India. It is everywhere. But it gets worse in India due to political interference. To get a loan, you put the company as a collateral.. as long as the business is doing good, it is valued very high and you get a good loan amount... once the company starts doing bad, the asset value goes down and the with not much revenue, the loan becomes a non performing asset.. and they declare bankruptcy..  how do you think trump earned all His money and bad reputation?

Development kanipistadi

Can you name one big development project that US completed in the past two decades across the country? All the infrastructure we have in US was built 5-6 decades ago and they are just maintaining it... they are still borrowing money after 3.6 trillion dollars of tax revenue every year...

All of the interstate highways and airports were built in the 60’s by pooling money by selling infra bonds.. Currently China is at that stage where they are spending huge money on infrastructure and building new airports, high speed rail networks, shipping ports etc...

One reason is  if a country to  see development we need credit in the system

In a country like India it's tough to get credit

Credit has ability to build an economy

Example

The great depression hit the general public when people were unable to get credit

Lack of credit in system has domino effect on overall economy.

We all know how tough is it to get a loan in india.

When u go to foundations of economic structure both macro and micro  credit plays a major role.

Most of these are improvements of existing infrastructure... do you know that they canceled the California high speed rail.. ?

Again, I have nothing against US. I live here and made it my home. All I am saying is that we cannot compare our middle class parents with our rich in-laws and criticize/hate our parents for not being as rich as your in-laws. 😂

Every country has its own merits and demerits.

You have no idea, do you? The amount of new infrastructure that is built in the US every year is ridiculous. People don't pay attention to these because it is taken for granted.

Did you even read that list? Most of them are new projects, and how is canceling one high speed rail equivalent to the nation not having any new infrastructure projects, which is what you claimed in your initial post. I fail to see the correlation, maybe you can explain.

Also, how is citing the infrastructure upgrades being done in one nation akin to hating any other nation? It's perhaps you that has that hatred, and you aren't being too good at trying to cover it up here. You are the one that claimed that US has not invested in any new infrastructure projects, and your proof is one canceled high speed rail project?

I didn’t say that about infrastructure.. this was in response to everyone saying that India will not become a developed nation.. it is not fair to compare a matured rich economy  with a comparatively new developing economy..

Anyway let's all hope that there's more accountability in public undertakings in India, that would definitely help with positive progress.

NASA budget is about 20 billion dollars.. which is peanuts for US.. I wish they spend more on NASA.. NASA can do wonders with more spending by encouraging more companies like SpaceX and virgin.... See what SpaceX did with few million dollars they received from NASA...
