York university is a good uni but part time jobs dorakadam kastam ... courses are tough anni muskoni course chestey pass avutaru lekapoetey buchiki ...lot of assignments ...you can get a job in canteen as a parttime ...getting jobs in uk is tough.....anyway this news is 7 years old...i was a regular visitor to this uni...

I don’t have any contacts as of right now As i have left the uk but university accommodation is good and if you email/call university student representative  will give more info  and they provide other indian student association information ..gumtree.com is where you can find listings for rental properties

Indian community chala thakkuva .2 desi stores vunnayi ,,,if you stay outside of university .....transit is a issue for a small town like york...even if it is bit expensive better to stay in uni accommodations but indian students can survive Out of campus accommodation. For students either cities like Leeds or Edinburg is better for jobs ....obviously london ...
