It's better for govt to take back step when farmers are protesting.

Farmers protesting is not good for country

Not something that can be backed down , overall I support the government regarding the bills but lot of amendments needed to protect the little guy .

Farm income has been stagnant for over ten years now , counting inflation farmers are actually losing income over the years.

My father has been getting the same 12-15 k per ton for rice for almost ten years .

Sugarcane was 2000 per ton ten years bak , last year 2700 , the labour charges have almost tripled , weedicides have grown two times , even fertilisers have increased .  Productivity has stagnated and cannot be advanced further with current tech .

I heard rahul gandhi was booed off stage when he was addressing them , no wonder he isn't going near them again :giggle:

Government employee salary has grown by over 100%  over last ten years while we are earning less and less .  No wonder punjabi farmers want their sons go to Canada at all costs . Better be a beggar in Canada than be a farmer in india

Small farmer of last decade is now smallest farmer. Land division avutundi and as it gets passed on to next generation, land ownership in acreage reduces.

Inout costs for 5 acres and return from it is not same as inout costs for 1 acre and returns on it.

Time for the farming community to do smart farming or else, collapse is only few seasons away.

Farming community ki epudu lenatha manchi oppurtunity. We are done storing food grains and now we have so much food that we can’t eat all of those food. Even if we let those grains to rot, it will take years to rot.

Food processing is the only way out. Let smaller and bigger players get into the game and let them buy what ever they want to at their agreed terms.

Food grains and raw materials are getting cheaper, abundant and steady supply. Food processing industry ki intha kante inka manchi source vundadu.
