incumbency kadu adi, generally general elections ki BJP or Congress ki ekkuva votes padutayi usually, secondly people wanted balance of power after seeing TRS sweep elections 6 months prior, also strong leaders who lost assembly won MP because of voter sympathy like revant, kishan, venkat reddy, bandi, uttam etc., TRS overconfidence poor selection of candidates, KCR over confidence too costed MP elections, Congress- BJP colluded in some places to defeat TRS.

there are no partners or enemies and everyone is an opportunist in politics. why would BJP care a  for congress or TRS anyways? everyones end goal is to form the government at the expense of others. In Telangana congress and BJP colluded than BJP and TRS, even BJP media supports Congress and same with Congress media supports BJP than TRS. I know for sure 3-4 MP seats BJP and Congress colluded/consipired to defeat TRS, even local bodies like Manikonda the mayor is a BJP candidate elected through support from Congress corporators
