Topics comparing Hindu gurus to christian pastors, preachers

There are constant topics being created by couple of poster comparing hindu sadhu or gurus etc with christian preachers like mother teresa or comparing some custom in hinduism. Only Mother teresa is mentioned no other christian preacher is mentioned. Now a topic comparing sri sri, vivekananda with teresa is opened. 

Except teresa how many evangelicals or catholics lived in poor areas. There are exceptions in all religions. 

Popes had a history of hedonistic behavior and controlled politics and countries. There were popes who had orgies.

Most evangelical pastors in US collected billions. Billy graham, kenneth copeland all collected billions from poor people.

Do you know what prosperity gospel is? These pastors collected billions from poor  and sick followers. 

Just look at how these mega churches with pastors who own private jets. They preach to all. But have the most luxurious lives.  Look up the guy "creflo dollar". The guy is a super successful mega church pastor. 

Dont innocently throw these insinuations around. So called mother teresa was a delusional harvester of souls for the catholic church. She had great relations with the worst  dictators of Africa.  As long as people were converted and died as christian she was ok with it. I understand you are a christian, dont keep on opening these kind of stupid threads

 If there is any religion which butchered millions across the world for converting that credit goes to christianity.  From Spanish inquisition to Goa inquisition christians butchered crores for religion. Spanish inquisition killed millions of native south americans and forcefully converted them all to catholicism. These catholics are led by peaceful Pope.  

Goa inquisition: portugese enforced it on Goan hindus and muslims to promote conversion.

1. Hindus were prohibited from any government office 

2. Hindu children whose dads died were required to be handed over to jesuits for training and conversion. This law was  enforced even if their mom was alive. 

3. A temple and mosque demolition squad was formed which demolished a number of temples and mosques. 

4. Even konkani language was suppressed. 

5. Hindus or muslims were not accepted as village leaders or witnesses in cases.

Thousands of hindus were prosecuted for all kinds of fake cases. 

A number of other steps were taken leading to around 15000 deaths. 

Christianity is different from the whole loving god, santa and cakes that is now marketed to telugu people.

But nevertheless protestant christianity introduced the concepts of "four walls and a prayer", encouraged people to read bible by themselves allowing literacy to spread. And generally had priests from the same community of the people. All are missing in the so called "hinduism".

Literacy spread because of advent of printing press jot because of bible. Protestant christianity is a far more zealot version of Christianity. 

So after killing 50% of a community and converting the rest of 50% and then letting a person from the community to be a pastor makes it superior. What a great logic? 

Protestant christianity is a well marketed product. Many religions have served their communities. Protestant churches in India now have also started collecting "tithe" from their poor followers. It is always about the money. It is no more rice bag conversions. Santa is another great marketing product but from catholicism.

Bible old testament is a jewish religious book called Tanakh. They use a few chapters of it as old testament.

Jesus is not even mentioned in old testament. Old testament god is vengeful, sadistic and downright cruel. 

The modern christianity that is portrayed in telugu media channels is all about love, santa, cakes etc etc. That is a great marketing play and also a number of things are marketed to teens and pre teens. 

Santa is an imaginary concept and that too from catholicism. 😂😂😂

nobody is recommending here to convert. So first you need to reduce your panic. If christianity is being falsely marketed - what about hinduism with its bhajans, political support form bjp/rss/ etc ? is it also not being marketed as something which it clearly is not.
