The tribunal award is correct because downstream users have much more water rights  than upstream .  

If catchment area is the only issue then 90% of krishna water should be used by Karnataka + maharastra. 

This is a purely scientific position , 50-50  usage is pure nonsense .

 Andhra could supply the current for Telangana to compensate for the hydel power until they can work out  a legal framework .  

Telangana is not even using the water , they are using it for power only and all water is going to sea anyway

This is a legacy of congress disastrous division without working out the issues.

If upstream states and downstream states have equal rights then Karnataka should build three more almatti sized dams  because 80% of water for Srisailam is from Karnataka anyway
