It’s 0.73% I think? Correct me if I’m wrong. Also sales tax is highest in the country. So if you ever buy cars, electronics and furniture. You will pay almost 4% more.

Compared to house and income, those are very minor.

?? IL, NJ lo propery taxes takkuva right? weather ye oka criteria ayithey chala states vunnayi weather bagundey states.. Location wise koncham better North Texas if you travel for work.

Dont know NJ, but IL lo property tax horrible...5% income tax and chicago land lo any suburbs avg property tax is between 2.2% - 2.6%....so another horrible thing....weather aithe inka no need to tell. There are good schools and good desi communities (ofcourse not as much as Dallas)...airport connectivity superb, both domestic and international. Anduke chaala cities nundi India flying ki Chicago via veltharu

recent ga Dallas ki vella thnx giving ki...Pros baane unnai for family. Like, schools are amazing, big houses, lots of telugu folks, desi food aithe heaven inka, airport connectivity (domestic or international is good), No state income tax and weather.

Cons - property tax ekkuva (but IL lo kuda same...so for me no change), too many telugus (caste feeling, regional feeling start avthai, peer pressure - all these apply only if you care...otherwise u can simply hang out with your own frnds/family and forget rest), Dallas assalu scenic kaadu so no outdoor activity at all. You need to fly or drive to other places (Austin little better in this factor).

Yes, ekkada chusina desi's unna kuda, still we feel we are in US. Akkada houses nijanga baguntai...big and good architecture....konni communities lo drive ki velthe bagunte...well maintained.

food aithe inka pandage....Bay area lo kuda you will enjoy food, but other factors lo Dallas out beats bay area (except IT jobs)
