If you plan to move to Texas and not buy a home for now. Thats fine too.

Nevada lo unnave only 2 major cities, Las Vegas(terrible place to live with terrible summer weather) and Reno(somewhat better but still too small)

Tennessee - Nashville somewhat okay but then again not a very progressive place for your kids to grow

Florida - If you can tolerate the humidity, gators, lizards and snakes yeah sure it's fine I guess. You can't escape the retired loonies though

Washington - Again the only place where you have access to big city amenities is Seattle metro which is over run with extremely high cost of living, homelessness and petty crime etc.

All in all, they have their own issues.

Economical perspective is key word here.

Preferences stand point lo Same things can be said and done about NJ, CA and TX. As I said its all individiual preferences. saving additional 20-25K per year for a family is very good IMO

Florida has the best weather. reminds me of home - warm , humid and plenty of sunlight . Hell they even have mosquitos

But second part is true , plenty of crackpots

education for kids is worst in NV, even top rated schools cant compete with ow rated texas schools. NV is only good for saving money if you are not into gambling

IT picha li8, you wont find it easy if you lose one

If I had the choice to move anywhere in the US I would probably move to Boulder, CO or anywhere around Denver Colorado. Colorado Springs would be my second choice.

All 4 seasons plus great hiking and camping spots, outdoors
