SEC filings lo Twitter mentioned that 5% of the accounts are bots.. but if that is not the case, it means Twitter is lying… Musk can say that he relied on the sec filings before making a bid and he wants to back out as Twitter lied.. 

Deal is with no additional due diligence. Also, twitter has to be proved that they "knowingly" lied and misrepresented the facts - very hard to prove. Even if somehow Musk proves that 20% of accounts are fake, twitter can say - what you did is genious, congrats! but we are not that intelligent and we didn't know. /end of story - as per my understanding

There is some SEC action, but yeah - now that he is worlds richest and TSLA part of SPY index fund, everyone wants to protect TSLA - quite opposite to the scenario 2 years ago.

Twitter will have bigger problems if Musk somehow manages to prove that they have more bots.. SEC will sue Twitter for providing false information in the filings…

entire world knows >20% of twitter accounts are fake. 

Modi has 80M followers. Total twitter accounts in India is 30M. Even if you assume 100% of indians follow him (no way - I follow 50 from india and only 5 follow him), it still means 80M outside of india are following him. Any rational person will say that is impossible (even assuming NRIs across globe follow him - that only adds max 20M).

Still think he'll go through with the deal, don't think he's buying twitter over money but for it's power of information control which is much more valuable.
