You have to be honest with your application...if you withdraw your 485...you have to say it was withdrawn in DS-160 for a question 'Was there an immigration application filled for you'

At this stage F1 or B-2 won't be approved easily, even if withdrawn...sorry to say

Why bro any reason for F1 or B-2 won't be approved ?

there are many indians who brought their wifes anta cousin contacted lawyer first f1 chedam anukunadu lawyer told it is easy to get GC faster from india and  NVC. US  lo 485 processing is more than 2 years, f1 deny aithe 4 or  5 months waste,  change of status and 485 processing is more than 2 years lot of confusion and slow processing.

don't know 2 lawyers said GC sponsoring is faster out of the country from last 3 years.

US lo untey change of status will be straightforward! India nundi it is supposed to be fast but lately appointments dorakatamay ledu inka processing fast aythada?

Change of status from visitor visa or F1 visa to 130/485 is not straightforward and can take time. I130 and consulate processing can take 14 to 16 months and is straightforward process.

Appointments consulate isthra manaam book chesukovala i130 approval tarvatha.

do you recommend applying for a visitor visa before applying I130

Okka sari immigrant visa ki apply chesaka non immigrant visa is a counteract and rejection chances ekkuva ….
nithing wrong in trying though.

is your friend gc through employment or

somenother source ? It depends on that too !
Kondaru sham marriages through sponsoring and it’s getting difficult for the spouses in India due to the background verification failure
