Why are they giving land to textile units near Hyderabad , couldn't they have located it in the poorer regions of North or south Telangana ?

These guys pay low wages , so i doubt workers could afford to live in legal accomodation near Hyderabad

They have prioritized 3 areas - warangal megavtextile park, siricilla and rangareddy chandanvelly. most of the people working in the Gujarat/surat and Mumbai textile industry are from Telangana (padmashalis), majority of them are in these areas.

Chandenvelly is an industrial park, welspun established flooring industry earlierand now established textiles in the same compound , textiles is something for curtains, floor mats etc.

Wealth won’t forever stay in ones hand, money changes hands, economy is built on this principle, a single road laid will bring an enormous economic activity around it.

So what’s your suggestion, just because some will become rich you don’t want industries? Also 89% of the land owners in Telangana own under 5 acres of land.

trickle down theory antunnava, it didn't work much in india till now going by history..

I don't have problem with coming industries, but do we really need to be very happy about it is the question.
