Even mahomes understood this if i am not wrong last yr he said he is not after money and highest paid is not his target and only cares about legacy...but again he renegotiated his side of the deal and now he is back into that highest paid QB category

Bottomline, these contracts are getting worse. 

49ers got screwed with their deals for Dee Ford, Kwon Alexander and a few other free agents who were injured. Luckily they hit on the draft and maintained success.  

If i am not wrong he negotiated his side of deal all by himself without going thru any agent i guess..

That'll save him some more money smart move

Agree. IT almost soured the relationship with the team and the negotiations went no where for quiet sometime. I think Jalen hurts deal pushing him to settle.
