The new campus of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), which is going to be set up in Vizag, will enhance nuclear research and development in the East Coast of India, particularly medical radioisotopes, said Regional Director of BARC centre, Vizag, P. Lahiri.

The BARC Regional Director said that the new BARC centre would be set up at Atchyuthapuram, 55 km away from Vizag city, and it would be completed in a phased manner.
