British done some good things which we cannot deny like unification of 500+ princely states, build railways, english education, imparting us a sense of democracy after mughala ruined it, British never forced religion upon us unlike muslim rulers and they were here for stirct business and the christinaty saw the spurt only after american sponsored missioners entered india. They weren't as harsh as rest of their counterparts like France, Germany during colonial era which saw millions killed.
