Stereotypes.

If same americans come to India and live like americans, lolli lolli chestaru...porilu battalu sakkaga vesukuntaru ani...blah blah..

kani, mana desi gallu idaki vachi, valaki istam vachinatu vuntaru...but still this is a tolerable place kabatti, evadu emi antaledu...that local culture anetidi okati edisachindi...adapt avamani evadu cheptaledu, atleast socially aina, follow the rules ani cheptunna

Ipudu konthamandi lolli lolli chestaru...enda rules..ekadi rules..evadu petindu rules..compulsory follow avalsina avasaram emi ledu..mana instam..itla masthumatladutaru..reality endi ante, a rules anetidi evadu ekada chepadu,rasipetaledu...but its happening around you. You need to observe, see, and follow them.

for people who can't understand what local culture is all about, they should try Omega-9.

Case in point: Throwing popcorn packets and other such stuff everywhere in the theater during the show. Mana movies play chese theaters pretty much resemble dumpsters after each show. I guess cleaning crew undi kadaa emundi le we can trash it ani manollu trash chestharu, but it's the wrong attitude to possess.

An incident and eye opener:

I went with my cousin's 6-year-old American-born son to a desi store and right outside the store, someone drank and threw Frooti bottle on the road and looking at the trash on the road, that little kid picked up the bottle and trashed and started saying people like these are ruining our society and planet as it was something which was taught to him in his school.

There was Telugu lady behind us who saw this scene and even saw the kid who threw the bottle on the road, she came near us and had a word.

she was like, I have seen two kinds of kids here today, one kid who threw the bottle away and another kid who picked up the bottle and unfortunately both of them are desi kids. It is not the child's mistake to throw the bottle but parent's responsibility to teach their kids manners and behavior.

We can only teach our kids manners if we can understand them first.Unfortunately, most of us, take things for granted and don't mix up with the local culture. The results would be visible later.
