300K for a couple is very very common in the Bay Area. Naaku telisinode okadu makes 200k and his wife makes 150k via consulting. He's on H1B and she's on H4 EAD so they make around 350k combined.

Santa clara lo 1.3 million petti house kooda konnaru. IF you are making anything less than 150k in Bay Area, not worth living there at all.

Parigetti paalu tagatam kante nilabadi neellu tagatam better..Move to Dallas or Atlanta or Raliegh/Cary NC. Peaceful life.. Lots of tech jobs..400 to 500k lo decent house vastadi..

100% true. I don't even understand why someone would want to live in a place like the Bay Area. Hot as an oven in the summers plus lengthy commute times, traffic etc. Raleigh/Cary and even Charlotte is so better.

300k you can get a decent house in Charlotte, 400k to 500k you will get a mansion.

Absolutely not worth.

Single income earning families ayithe best to live in middle tier cities in the US, I won't even count Charlotte among them anymore since Charlotte has become more expensive.

I am talking about cities like Nashville, St Louis, Minneapolis or even cities like Birmingham in Alabama etc. There you can manage to buy a house and live on a single income salary, anywhere else it's going to be tougher.
