white rice? if so, switch to brown rice/quinoa

... also dosa/idly.. edaina carbs ey... cut down on carbs in night time...

BIG NO for peanut oil & coconut oil in this case .. Indian cooking ki Extra virgin Olive oil is not good but you can use regular Oilve oil ( you can get in costco) .. memu 4 yrs nundi use chestunnam and anni Indian cooking chesta dantitho except deep fry ..

If you dont want to go for Olive then Canola is ok ,,Sunflower is good too.

to reduce LDL : cut down FULL FAT milk/yogurt/cheese.  Deep fry foods ,Red meat /Shell fish & Late  night dinner . Eat lot of fiber 

to increate HDL : Regular exercise

+ healthy fats like salmon nuts can improve the HDL levels

olive oil good for indian cooking, are you sure ? I heard many mixed reviews about this, so not sure

canola oil ekkada dorkutadi ? i could not find in costco in east coast
