తెలుగు ప్రజలకి ప్రతేక రాష్టం కావాలని అడిగారు కానీ తెలుగు వారు మాత్రమే ఉండాలని మహారాష్ట్ర లో లాగా దీక్ష చేయలేదు కదా.

Jai Andhra ki.Potti Sriramulu ki...1983 new found telugu pride ki link pettakandi ani...three serve different purposes, the first two emotional and the latter is for political gain..

So, what you're trying to tell is that there is no common denomination in terms of culture for people in Andhra Pradesh to have a separate state besides having a common speaking language, so they shouldn't be entitled to have a separate state. In terms of that, there is nothing in common between me, and a Hindi speaking guy from Uttar Pradesh, so why should we be in the same country? You're basically trying to say that the whole movement was only because of political gains, but did not result because of the cultural aspirations of the people in the state. What cultural aspirations have been realized after a separate Telangana state? Like in Telangana state, any movement results in political gains of the person leading the effort, just like how the Nehru's gained power after Indian independence movement. Are you saying that the whole Indian independence movement was because of the political gains of the Nehru family? Since, there is no binding factor for the cultural assimilation of Indians.

Again confuse avutunnav. Statehood is better not to get confused with Telugu language.

It was Andhra and it is Andhra now...don’t confuse Andhra as Telugu and Telugu as andhra...nothing like Telugu identity and Telugu pride are completely different...

I still didn't understand the point of this post, Andhra Pradesh is formed because they speak a different language when compared to Tamil Nadu. They have unmet cultural aspirations that couldn't be fulfilled staying together with Tamil Nadu. So, yes, they formed on the basis of language. Telangana has different cultural aspirations, so they choose to be different. That's understandable, not everyone who speak Hindi are in the same state, they separate based on other cultural aspects.
