Its not cultural aspirations but seat of administrations and power corridors are completely dominated by Tamilians and Andhras started feeling inferior and wanted a self respect. The self respect which you think of is political motivated and for gains. 
 

There were many other Telugu speaking regions but only the region under Madras Presidency is considered for Andhra State and language was taken as bench mark...not other way around. Don’t get confused.

So are you saying that Telangana formed on its own cultural aspirations but not because of the political gains of the people leading the effort, whereas  Andhra Pradesh formed because of political gains of people but not because of cultural aspirations of the people who felt they didn't get self respect from Tamil Nadu. Noted.

Potti Sreeramulu specific ga fought for telugu speaking people in Madras presidency. He didn't fight for all telugu people because at that time Nizam state telugu people and Madras state telugu two distinct groups of people, socially, culturally, economically.

Even in Peddamanushula oppandham in 1956, during the formation of state, this fact was taken into consideration. 

Tarvatha NTR had a real opportunity to do something for the Telugu people but he just utilised that sentiment for his and his caste domination. 

Peddamanushula oppandham prakaram AP and Rayalaseema people have no right to own land in TG. Inka chala unnayi , cheppukuntu pothey tine saripodhu. I am just glad that TG has formed and good / bad we are better now under the rule of TRS.

Cultural aspirations, like celebrating Sankranti, Bathukamma, promoting Telugu language, Telugu maha sabhalu etc...
