1+1 isn’t always 2 in Politics. End of the day people will decide and just have to respect the mandate.

Yes bro, let there be alliance and end of the day ppl will decide why are you tearing your shirt ?

No idiot will ever advice anyone against such coalitions two years before the elections.

I think these decisions are self called shots. If there is someone who is advising, then they would have avoided such unnessasary coalition talks at this stage.

Alliances are not something which you discuss in a press conferences if you really want to go together. Avesam Tho patu Alochana kooda undali

Million dollar question bro… why this tamasha 2 years before elections….

Are they trying to bury TDP’s chances ? Because of such actions, it’s TDP which is going to get upset.

Imagine coalition talks go well and in Uttarandhra where JSP claims has strength will demand majority of the seats..say 20-30 of them. That means TDP will not contest in these seats and TDP candidates will eventually act as rebel agents, may even collide with ruling YCP to work against the coalitions. Threat of rebels will increase more and more of talks are advanced by two years. This is the reason why no political party forged alliances or confirms seats just before the polls to avoid rebel scare and vote splits.

But in this case, they are hell bent doing such things. Is PK sold already ? May be..

I am not against the Alliance bro. Let them do what they want to. What we discuss here isn’t going to change the course of election.

Yes bro, PK lost at both the places and still he stood up and didn’t quit and nobody questions his honesty right, while jagan needs bail restrictions to be lift even to go for a vacation abroad. 1 plus 1 is not 2 in politics, like wise sometimes 420s also become cm by jaggu like accident, AP ppl are already fed up with this psycho

This is the first time I see alliances being discussed years before the elections instead of weeks/months before.

JS doesn’t have strong candidates in many constituencies. This is probably going to hurt TDP more since some of their strong leaders might move to YCp because of the seat issues.

1) If BJP announces PK as the CM candidate, either he might be thinking they will be part of TDP alliance since they already announced him. Probably use this as leverage for talks with TDP to ask for more seats.

2) if BJP refuses, probably thank them for giving a way out, just break the alliance and go with TDP.

Despite all these , people elected him with a massive mandate. If he screw up, he will be shown door by the same people.

1. Threat of rebel candidates will increase.

2. Caste consolidation for JSP, if they act in consolidating kapu vote bank they may loose support from other castes. If you give local leaders two years time to work locally especially on consolidating castes, it will misfire massively. It’s like you set to gain one vote by losing two votes.

3. Announcing two years ahead of time with JSP not even having proper candidates for constituencies, there will be mad rush for tickets. Eventually one person per constituencies will get a ticket and others will feel dejected and work against these candidates.

Basic fundamentals of electoral politics. You cannot go against these set of rules.

If he didn’t know he screwed up, why door to door mla program before 2 years itself bro? Likewise PK is also doing his thing before 2 years itself. Looks fair to me

True. Still cannot think of any logic how these alliance talks 2 years before elections are going to help them. Just a gut feeling PK is forcing BJP’s hand to break the alliance here.

Parties delay announcing the candidates as late as possible to avoid the rebels issue and also prevent at least some of them moving to other party.

I think YSR was the first one to announce all the candidates at once in 2009.
