most states have exceptions and many will have complete access to abortion. You are taking 0.1% outliers, of there are exceptions then do you agree abortions need to end? 800K abortions happen in this country, 10% after 15 weeks, that is 80k. overwhelming majority are for convenience not about risks.

India also it is not fully legal dude. Kaastha law telusuko. I think it is upto 20/24 weeks it is legal beyond that it is not.

So technically as per you, if someone does bad to the baby, like give something to effect only baby, then law cannot be enforced, as it is not a murder of a human being as the baby is not born yet !

As of September 1, 2021, abortion is illegal in Texas once a fetal heartbeat can be detected. The Texas Heartbeat Act prohibits abortion when there is a detectable heartbeat, which may be as early as 6 weeks into a woman's pregnancy.

Its not controversial at all, if you read up on the laws that will now come into force in some of the red states.

In Texas it is 6 weeks dude.. In India it is 24.
