I don't know anyone who has lost job. Plenty of people are still doing multiple jobs. These job losses are not just a drop in a ocean. Many companies over-hired in last 3 years are reducing staffs.

some people already on maternity , paternity got laid off bro the law only protects if its selective targetted laid off, costcutting, role elimination type of layoffs lo dont think any law can protect the termination day will be along the same lines as regular

Contractors are hired for temporary work. Companies wont & dont need to report.

only the official employer will need to report it. Consultancies wont lay off people when the project at client place is finished

2 of my direct reportees got laid off. And few people in close circle too.


agreed companies are reducing staff after over hiring, but for sure its not drop in ocean. May be a mug in bucket

May be but none in my circle got laid off. Some even moved to new jobs with higher pay.
