These layoffs are not even a drop in the bucket compared to the the number of people hired since covid

Since covid millions got hired. Just in the first 2 months of this year 800k got hired. Many are doing multiple jobs. House bidding wars everywhere. Huge salary hikes and promotions everywhere.

anna , blue collar jobs ni mana tech jobs tho link pettaku .... blue collar job sector is very strong for now , on other hand tech layoffs are on par with 2000 dot com burst

Actually no, read that comparatively we are much better off now than in 2009.

I was not in USA in 2008/2009 but that was different scenario ,in 2009 many sectors impacted  including tech , but post covid only tech is impacted (as of now ) similar to 2000 tech burst

Tech Companies are just rebalancing because of too much hiring during covid.  Aren't many tech people doing multiple jobs? Huge salary hikes and promotions everywhere.

multiple jobs are now balancing and future layoffs will offset all those , few more hiccups to economy will reset tech job sector more
