I am against taking loans for any kind of expenditure.. we have to live within our means.. this whole capital thing started with the notion that AP also should have a capital like Hyderabad as the state has lost it, which at its core is idiotic and a money pit.. 

but if we have to, better spend it on infra and capital expenditure than on social schemes and money distribution schemes.. you don’t donate money by taking loans..

How does building real estate with loans solve anything ? 

If you had said building industrial infra , ports , expressways , colleges , hospitals , etc i would understand 

Your solution at best will help land holders in 2 districts while burdening others with loans

there has to be balance between infra spending and welfare. At any given point, welfare has to be the top priority but that doesn’t mean other things needs to be neglected. Things like education, health, social welfare, improving child mortality, malnourishment, has to be top priority over building a new capital or world class city. For this purpose, you don’t really need to take any loans, center sponsors most of these schemes and state spends meager amount but unfortunately it’s CBN who diverted all the funds meant for social welfare to his pet projects and since then the state had to depend on the loans even on welfare schemes now.

Capex on nonsensical projects is worse than welfare schemes , infact it is just a welfare scheme to benefit a select few people 

I agree about loans , Andhra needs to massively reduce salary /pensions /welfare to match it's earnings

I agree. Spending so much on capital construction is nonsense and idiotic. But when you compare, Capex spending generate lot of economic activity, jobs, revenue and creates jobs.. this is better than just giving people money away.. there is no end to this as people won’t accept if we stop paying..

right now, the only option to make things better is to abandon those world class city projects and concentrate on the basics and for this, the resolution can onmy be achieved politically. Irrespective of who forms the next govt has to be partner the union govt…memu kotladutam, memu Desham antha tirigi dharma porata yudham chestham ante thokki Nara’s naara teestaru…..In a country like India, results can only be achieved with a political resolution.
