Now a days PPO plans became super expensive and out of pocket maxs is high .. so HSA is always better ..

yes 911 ambulance is a scam .... they bill a lot ...

they bil for services provided before arriving to the hospital ... (like ecg, iv saline etc) ...

they bill for transportation ...

then ER visit charges ...

if insurance didnt pay to him ... then ER physician will send a separate bill ...
