Shambuka (Sanskrit: शम्बूक, IAST: śambūka) is an interpolated character, which is not found in the original Valmiki Ramayana but in the later addition called "Uttara Kanda".^[1][2][3] According to the story, Shambuka, a shudra ascetic, was killed by Rama for attempting to perform tapas in violation of dharma, resulting in the bad karma which caused the death of a Brahmin's son.^[4]

This story was created at a later period.^{[2][5][6][7][8]} In Jain literature, story of Shambuka is different and he is Surpanakha’s son.^[9]

Story[edit]

According to this story, when Rama was ruling Ayodhya, a Brahmin approached the court and told everyone that his young son has died due to the misrule of Rama. Rama immediately called a meeting with all his ministers and enquired about the cause of this. The sage Narada told him that this has happened due to a violation of a rule of tapas (austerities). Narada informed him that a shudra was performing tapas, which was prohibited in the age of Treta. So Rama went in search of the shudra and found the place where Shambuka was performing penance. After confirming that Shambuka is indeed a shudra, Rama killed him. The gods praised Rama for this act and congratulated him for protecting their interests and for not allowing shudra to attain heaven in person. Brahmin's son was also resurrected.^[2][7]

So this story is representing entire society history before invaders? 
in these articles where they say rama slayed because he was shudra dont give entire picture what was the intention for his tapas etc. this is twisted story to suit agenda

It's there in ramayana...

I read about this reference in multiple books...

You can read it up..and provide me rational evidence...

edhi ekkada originate ayyindhi anedhi immaterial for me. What a society does with the knowledge it is presented is more important. Indian society was way too divided. Brahmins may be biggest reason for it, but some share of blame falls with other castes (land owning rich castes) who played along.

anyway point is, even if India somehow invented calculus or newton's law, it wouldn't know what to do with it. So what's the point?

Its a scheme and schema to provide protein, fats and Carbohydrates at the needed time and needed proportions, while rest of the castes die of hunger ...

How many Brahmins died of hunger during British Rule and how many non-Brahmins died?? Its obviously clear..Brhamins sided with Islamic rulers and Britishers to ensure their own luxuries.

Brhamins had no knowledge but they did have literacy (some of them). Instead of using literacy to first acquire knowledge and spread it they used to spread superstition, ensure they are free loaders and keep society weak.

The only culture in the world which really made spreading literacy a religious belief was protestant christianity that started in north west europe.

They had enough of pope and his shenanigans so they wanted to remove the priest from religion. So it became almost obligatory for every beleiver to learn their own bible. This meant every one - from a humble shepherd to a king - learning to read and write become a religious obsession. That increased their literacy rate, spread knowledge among themselves at rapid rate.

And we all know the rest.

this story is available in public…like Wikipedia etc with reference links…

there are plently of offence and defence discussions also there…if yoh search it up…with keyword శంబుక వధ…

i can clear consciously can say brahmins dominance was there on knowledge…if you read few stories of ramayayan, mahabharth, manusmriti…etc you will understand how much  importance they given for brahmins…like some rituals like donating cows to brahmins donating land to brahmins donating gold and clothes to brahmins ..etc

ఈ కథ ప్రకారం, రాముడు అయోధ్యనుపరిపాలిస్తున్నప్పుడు , ఒక బ్రాహ్మణుడు కోర్టును ఆశ్రయించాడు మరియు రాముడి దుష్పరిపాలన కారణంగా తన చిన్న కుమారుడు మరణించాడని అందరికీ చెప్పాడు. రాముడు వెంటనే తన మంత్రులందరితో సమావేశాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసి, దీనికి గల కారణాలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నాడు. తపస్సు (తపస్సు) యొక్క నియమాన్ని ఉల్లంఘించడం వల్ల ఇది జరిగిందని నారద మహర్షి చెప్పాడు . త్రేతా యుగంలో నిషేధించబడిన ఒక శూద్రుడు తపస్సు చేస్తున్నాడని నారదుడు అతనికి తెలియజేశాడు.. అందుకే రాముడు శూద్రుడిని వెతుకుతూ శంబుకుడు తపస్సు చేస్తున్న ప్రదేశాన్ని కనుగొన్నాడు. శంబుకుడు శూద్రుడు అని నిర్ధారించిన తరువాత, రాముడు అతన్ని చంపాడు. దేవతలు రాముడిని ఈ చర్యకు మెచ్చుకున్నారు మరియు వారి ప్రయోజనాలను పరిరక్షించినందుకు మరియు శూద్రుడు వ్యక్తిగతంగా స్వర్గాన్ని పొందటానికి అనుమతించనందుకు అతన్ని అభినందించారు. బ్రాహ్మణ కుమారుడు కూడా తిరిగి లేచాడు. ^[2] [7]

problem with these stories is simple ga tappasu chesadu andukane boy chanipoyadu ani cheptunaru kani. what that tapasu means? meditation cheste boy enduku chanipoyadu evaru cheparu? 

he was responsible for boy death right is the conclusion i get  then so he being shudra is immaterial punishment should be given right?
