Asian parents and Indian parents no difference. Aa vishayam lo both are pretty much the same. Also among Asian parents, Vietnamese parents are less strict about academic grades and such.

Okanduku cheyatam lo tappu ledu but that shouldn't affect the student's mental well being. Also vallani socialize avvanivva kunda katti padesi chaduvu chaduvu ani saavagottadam not right.

ya not saying that is right kani em option undi mana dhaggara in a country with population of >100 crores? decent school lo chadavakunda decent marks/degree lekunda entho mandi unnaru india lo and most of those cases lo parents didnt "pressure" or take care of them... where are they vs where are the pressurised kids?  They would do anything to have a life like the "pressursied" kids now... all settled and earning good salary ....

Yes it makes sense in India since the options are limited for a nation with such a huge population. But US lo that's not the case, the kid could be a musician or an artist and still lead a good life he doesn't have to be an Engineer or a doctor. That's the benefit of living in a developed nation, but looks like our people have left their brains in India while physically residing in the US.
