Speech and occupational and sensory therapy. Bhaya any idea on the stem cell therapy ?

waste of time and money anta....simple suggestion is - If he is Autistic, no cure for Autism as of now, it is a life long condition. No point wasting your energy and resources, all you can do for now is to give him one to one supports like  all the therapies you mentioned like OT, SLT & ST etc. There are many out there trying to fleece the parents. Don't fall in those traps

improvement take lot of time..it may even take years to see difference

ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Play and parents and sibling iteration can improve a lot but not entirely remove

this is a neurological phenomena..the brain has to figure out.. the more opportunities for him to figure out would be much better

every symptom is a autistic kid is different.. no use in comparing with other kids and assuming that your kid may not have autism

once a kid is labeled ASD as per DSM manual, there is good chance that it is indeed true... parent waste 2-3 yrs living in denial.. this could be the most crucial period for kids if they get all the support services such as ABA etc

living in denial is a biggest challenge parents need to learn quickly, rest all are unmitigated issues that you had no control on

it is such a emotional trauma, our culture and upbringing makes it even worse, we tend to hide the facts with relatives and others thinking that it may spoil the future of kid, the truth is why should you care about what others think

if the kid get accolades, parents take credit, same kid needs support, parents are either guilty or not accumulate proper response emotionally and mentally.. fact is a parent should take care of kid no matter what.. hope is a timeless bitch

Dr Alok Sharma is a neurologist who conducts seminars in dallas and the treatment is expensive

again this may not be an option if the kid is below 4 yrs

its too early to get a proper diagnosis unless he is on the extreme end of the spectrum. At this age the important question is, whether he never developed the speech and language skills? or has he regressed? Coz typically in autism, you will notice the regression of acquired skills. So if he has got some speech and language and he lost them, it is a concern. If not it could well be a general delay too.

It is a big dilemma. Whatever is the situation, early intervention is much desirable. so you might start off with non medical interventions, like therapies.

You can just cross check with the typical signs / traits the autistic kids display, like poor feeding, eye contact, interaction with other kids, seeking rigid routines, etc etc..There are so many signs, if you observe you can get some idea.
