Parents of these poor innocent kids must be put in prison for life under Child-ignorance/abuse law.

yeh, one more awesome idea to separate kids from their parents forever.

so asylum status decide ayye dhaka kids and parents need to stay in different locations? If yes, then how long will they need to be like this separately?

I thought this was about the illegals being kicked out while their kids (US nationals) being left in the states

actually the adults are first tried as criminals for trying to cross the border, even if they turned up with asylum request and deserve to have their request processed, according to all international laws.

its the nifty change Trump brought into the process, so that lesser people will turn up at the border.

earlier they were processed for asylum, but now they have to first prove that they are not criminals, and then asylum application will be processed. until that time, kids will be held separately.

karavamante kappa ki kopam.. vadhalamante pamu ki kopam... you cant really have a proper solutions to things like these... arent there criminals amongst those asylum seekers? Yes, there are. Arent there innocent people amongst those asylum seekers? Yes, there are. Now how do you differentiate between both and filter out the bad guys? only God knows I guess

1. they are picking up a non issue (immigration) to side track the actual issue - which is unfettered capitalism, falling wages, rise in inequality. This is political posturing.

2. there is a solution. put the kids with the parents in the same jail. change the law to do it immediately, if you have to jail them. Trump's party controls both the senate and the house.

3. There's no way anyone can justify kids being held separately possibility to being sexually abused. but the govt is defending it. and so are some people.

they do it because they can. thats all.

they have no respect for the dignity of people, if they are not white.. or in some non-racist cases 'American'.
