Are religious conversions bad?

There is a bigger threat though. Most of these conversion organizations are funded by churches/mullahs or whatever from other countries. That means that those that are doing conversions are influenced by people from other countries. So if America or Pakistan or whatever wants to change the thinking of people, all they have to do is tell lies to the preachers in India and these guys will do their bidding. Other countries don’t have the best intentions for India.

What about Indians immigrating to the US. Do they also have a preconceived notion of thinking that they are rubbing off to influence the vote in the US. Is that a conspiracy by the Indian Government?

That influence is minimal as compared to the influence on more than 200 million people in India.

So you think? My point is, if someone is able to influence your idealogy it means that you're not content with what you have and are seeking something else, who gives us the right to deny it. Besides, in a secular nation, everyone has a voice, irrespective of if they converted or not. People fail to understand the inherent failure of the caste system to create an inclusive society and are blaming other religions for their failures.

Contentment can be Influenced by money. India doesn’t have that much money to influence people through nefarious means.

@Pillipilla What they are doing IS ILLEGAL.

Once they convert, they must declare the conversion and stop availing reservations in jobs.

Their children need to stop getting any facilities in reservation quota.

They need to stop being employed by temples

 

The above is as per law.
