Mana degara health care infrstructure ledu...PHC ani vuntadi, glucose and first aid thappa emi vundavu...sarigga sanitised conditions kuda vundavu....budget allocation takuva, staff not trained...monitoring vundadu...inni challenges vunayi.

Let healthcare infrastructure flourish first...private or public, 3-4 villages ki oka PHC,  mandal ki oka 100 beds health infrastructure, constituency ki oka speciality health care center and a medical college for every district....idantha government funding tho kante let private players come into the play...

Lets just put some numbers together, Govt health care system infrastructure edi aithe vundo, danni improve cheyadaniki country;s total budget oka 5 years allocate chesina kuda saripodu...secondly, if government invests into health care system and uograde chesina, Do you think we will be able to maintain the quality ? Imagine the number of people to be employed to maintain such services, laws , security, facilities, etc...Imagine the complex system that we will create in the name of the government owned hospital infrastructure. By doing so, we will only end up creating a huge health care mess.

Let the privat guys take care of such infrastructure things and let them fund and build and create hospital infrstructure...Ivala tribal areas lo kuda private hospitals vatsunayi, deeniki reason such  insurance based health schemes. ade government ie stage ki vellalante it will take forever...best examples are our primary  education centers. We spent lakhs of crores to create our public education system but the result is now disastrous. Health care system kuda ide avutadi...

Yeah, arogyasri...now this scheme is being implemented in almost 15 states now...

adhey le.. athanu baaga idealist laaga unnadu. personal ga thakkuva dabbulu teeskoni vaidhyam cheyyatam ani edho chepthunnadu.

but healthcare should be developed as a system that should take advantage of scale. individual doctors, hospitals should not be calling the shots (with regard to how much they should be paid).

I don't know if arogyasri does it or not. but yeah, public insurer is a much better way than govt building everything itself.

em proof aduguthunnav. all countries have private hospitals, where patients can walk in and get treated for a nominal sum, say 20euros.

netherlands takes care of all hospitalization costs, still offered only by private hospitals. atleast most of them are private hospitals.

canadians dont even have to pay that 20euros.

UK's NHS is now nothing less than a mess. UK is spending billions but its citizens going abroad to get treatment done.
