If rates reduced it's because for the available labor, it's not skilled anymore. Flipping a burger can be a high skilled job before robots flipping burgers are invented. It just means it doesn't require any skills and there are other more skilled jobs out there.

Then how about US have a unrestricted labor access to skilled IT jobs,  then even AI/ML will be unskilled because we have more workers available??

One example na MS classmate is from IIT, full scholarship for MS, MS lo deans list, masters lo co-op chesadu when he tried for full time after completing our masters vadiki 3 months lo he couldn’t find a job so desi mesthri dagara join iyyadu automation testing. Worked with desi mestri for a yr ee lopu full time try chesukuni vadiki unna knowledge tho AWS pina ROKU lo full time kotadu.

now he make much more than most of us who start away started as full time...

That's the point of progress, isn't it? Keep the cream, drain the swamp. We wouldn't have progressed if inventing the wheel is still considered high skill.
