These regions were never identical to have a level playing field. You cannot say they all had similar access to resources citing some sample data which does not even represent a part of what reality used to be.

Antha logic ledu akada. We were adolescents. Normal ga a hotel ani decide chestu, nen veg tinta ante avuna meeru a caste annattu start ainattundi conversation. We casually asked each other meedi a caste, same caste aite same pinch cheskunam. It was harmless way of asking because it was meant like meedi a uuru or what's ur surname laga....until then we were ignorant about evils of caste system so we didn't bother about being politically correct.

I experienced when I was way too young probably 2nd or 3rd grade coz most of our neighbors are called with their caste names but no caste was ever degraded or talked cheap...I am born in hyderabad and raised there until I moved to the US, but I experienced real casteism in the US with fellow gultis in my university though....
