Result is that if you are in a managerial capacity and are trying to convey a point a lot of people might not be so serious about taking you seriously while they might not think the same way had your accent been a British one or an Australian one. Is it fair? No. Is it a soft form of racism? Yes. But then at the end of the day you can't change people's perceptions so it's best that you adapt and develop an accent that's less worthy of mockery.

It will sound odd and ugly if you try. 3) In my logs, there is a record of an American women telling me how she loved a thick Indian/UK accent. 4) Words and body language are more important than accent. 5) Accent does not improve confidence. Confidence improves your communication. Totally incorrect. Ever notice how HOllywood actors learn accents for a new role, even into their 50s?
Batman_fan
More you speak, more you get grip on accent. Don't be afraid to get embarrassed. That is the first rule of learning anything.

But if your grain sized intellect is talking about a real world scenario where conversations are natural, spontaneous and least anticipated, then no, you cannot master a new accent.

Your intellect the size of your tiny pecker isn't capable enough of fathoming that there are artists that perform live comedy shows that slip in and out of different accents. So yes it's absolutely possible to master different accents, just not for clueless morons like you though
