First of all, one should understand Hindutva by itself is not a religion but is way of life. Hindutva says, “एकं सद्विप्रा बहुधा वदन्ति” (meaning Truth is one, but the learned refer to it in different names) everyone describes the truth, but the thing is about extreme truth, yes the TRUTH is only ONE.

Hindutva is never against any religion, caste, and creed. It says one may have different way of worship but the ultimate truth is One. Our way of prayer might be different but it reaches to only one God and which Truth.

Hindutva is understood in wrong way by most of us. They say Hindutva talks about Dharma but I say we never had Dharma, we had Varna. Dharma is decided on the basis of birth but Varna is decided on the basis of Karma. Hindutva never categorized people on the basis of their birth but by their work. One has freedom to choose his Karma he wants to pursue and on that basis he was categorized. This is one of many misconceptions about Hindutva.

Therefore before forming an opinion, one has to understand Hindutva in its true sense and that would give all the answers to one’s doubts.

All this is not relevant to what I'm talking about.

Hindutva pisses on its poor and the weak (based on its definition of weak). whatever great TRUTHs it talks about, it is not politically tenable beyond a point.

People don't want to compete for their share of the pie all the time. Most times, people just want peaceful lives. Hindutva does not have a roadmap to peace for the majority. It has goodies for those who have won the caste lottery, by being born in caste households that own lots of wealth, and a hope for future for poorer and enterprising people.

But most people just want normal things. They don't want to become entrepreneurs. They don't want to own the world. To them Hindutva says Fcuk You. So they'll say Fcuk you back.

Just look at Venezuela. You have a govt there who has absolutely bungled the economy, and still more than half the country supports that govt. WHy? because the opposition to the govt is, wealthy plutocrats, and middle class people they hate.

India is not like Venezuela. For one, its too diverse to even be one country under Hindutva. When the money runs out, India probably won't remain an federal union. But its lower classes are finding voice, and some among them who support Hindutva will be mocked soon.

Hindu political identity will be snatched from Hindutva, and will be shared among various groups. Its inevitable. Hindutva has nothing to offer to the avg Indian. Just like White supremacy has nothing to offer to the avg whites, apart from the lies it feeds him/her.

FTR, I consider the Congress party as a Hindutva party too. They tried to get away from Hindutva in the brief period (2004-14), when India had its golden run, but they are back to their dog whistling tactics at UC Hindus.

When India actually has a period of sustained growth (about 10+%) for a couple decades, Hindutva will be defeated, because it'll be clear that it has nothing to offer its people. Also the reason why India is being held back by its own rulers, probably.

Also we forgot the main thing no, Hindutva will divide India, just like White supremacy divided the white people.

the more Hindutva succeeds, the more likely India as a union will dissolve.

Look around the world. You can realise how popular anti-rich movements are.

white nationalism/Hindutva cannot ever be anti-rich movements. They are designed to feed more wealth to the top, by encouraging a game economy that explicitly rewards the winner, while mocking the loser.

losers will band together to bring them down. and the winners are not as smart as they think they are.

its obvious, if you think about it.

overwhelming majority of people are vulnerable, and insecure, and don't need bunch of supremacist bozos shouting constantly about how superior they are as a group, when their lives suck personally.

People are going to lose their jobs, grow old, contract some illness, have some emergency. At times of emergencies, they can see how the false world built by blowhards in Hindutva/white supremacy comes crumbling down.

So increasingly it will make sense for them to band together in a group that respects their insecurities, not one that makes fun of it.
