Congress Aims At TRS With Rahul Gandhi Telangana Visit

Hyderabad: The detailed schedule of Congress President Rahul Gandhi's visit to Telangana was released by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). Earlier, it was decided that Rahul would visit the State on October 20 and 27. However, with slight changes to it, the Congress released a detailed schedule.

As per the latest schedule, the Congress President would reach Bhainsa in Adilabad district from Nanded in Maharashtra on October 20. In Bhainsa, Rahul would address a public meet between 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Later, between 2:30 and 3:30, he would attend a public meet in Kamareddy.

In the evening, Rahul would attend the Rajiv Sadbhavana Day celebrations at Charminar in Hyderabad. He would head back to New Delhi at 7 pm.

The Congress leaders are hoping for a massive turnaround in its fortunes with Rahul's visit in the State. The TPCC plans to inspire the party cadre with the public meetings.

On the other side, the Congress grand alliance is expected to release its list of contestants for the upcoming elections by October end.
