Minimum support prices is the hindrance to free market pricing and this is the main reason why farm produce doesn’t get proper price.

farming is an old concept and farmer cannot be just a farmer anymore, he need to sell his produce...agri culture is a gone thing now...agri commerce is what we need..!

Free electricity or raidu bandu are just a shot in the arm but still lacking in many aspects like minimum support price, farm machinization etc.

Minimum support pricing anta...lauda...oka item ki live anedi decide ayedi market la...oka year avasaraniki te ekuva produce vachi rate paid pothe govt daniki minimum support price ani fix chestadi...akade commerce antha debba tintundi...govt ekuva price ki koni etla market chestadi ?

danivalla market is getting dumped with over produce...low price..

kothaga ipudu increased yields...over produce...and we don’t want to change from agriculture and farmer.

farmer needs to become businessman and agri culture needs to turn into agri commerce

KCR dabbulu tineste it is a different issue..kani it is going to people directly. The scheme itself is fairly transparent and our discussion was more on the effectiveness for few type of lands not suitable for agriculture, the problem is always it takes time to identify such things in any scheme based on the feedback is my point.

Speaking to reporters here he said while only 97 lakh acres were under cultivation across the state for the kharif season, the TRS government was giving away crop investment subsidy under the RBS for 1.4 crore acres.

 

 

“The uncultivated land is the property of realtors who use it for business purposes. We have seen people coming in swanky SUVs to take RBS cheques. As a result of this, Rs 1,720 crore is going to realtors and non-land cultivating owners This is proof enough that there are loopholes in the RBS and we call upon the government to revise it and ensure that it benefits only the farmers.” he said.

Prof. Kodandaram suggested that the state government could have given Rythu Mitra ATM cards so that the farmers could  purchase agricultural requirements like seeds and fertilisers.

agri commerce in India is a pipe dream as is because ours is mostly small farmer type base and there is no way they are going to have the bargaining the power unless they do it en-block. 

also with out solving basic issues we cannot achieve the high ground like water, transportation, storage, farm mechanization etc  

up until now effing governments can't keep track or project type of the yield for any given season. Agriculture departments even lack basic statistics/analytics. 

For example here in US, agriculture department in some situations pay farmers just to refrain from sowing a particular type of crop if their projections show there is going to too much yield .

You are reading too much into the statement..other 40 lakh acres highlighted in the article need not be parking lots of relators, not being cultivated doesn't mean not agriculture lands and the whole another reason extending raitu bandu to such lands is bring such lands under cultivation.

some of these modalities will be worked out going forward and the point I was making is that you cannot strike down this scheme as useless as it serves greater good.
