Mark my words...The greater metro region of RTC will be managed by Hyderabad Metro Rail Corporation, although RTC will still be the management but day to day operation will be directed by the Metro...

L and T have invested 20,000 crores on building this metro system and city bus network has not been able to support the metro because of the management. 

Government will reimburse RTC few hundred crores, as part of capital infusion and L and T will develop route network, pass system, a seamless system will be in place like one card many uses... 

The strike by the union has given government the right opportunity to fasten the process..

RTC will slowly start de-owning their buses...It’s 50% now and slowly from 50% to 90% and RTC would barely own 10% of the buses. 

RTC has good commercial properties all around, these properties will now become sooner or later hub of activity, can expect commercial establishments...

RTC will exist, but not the way it used to be. It’s for better that government has taken such a step...we use it, we pay it..! I don’t think there is any need for subsidized travel anymore except for government welfare schemes. Diesel prices go up, then ticket prices have to go up...we use it and we pay for it..

spoke to few common people in last couple of days and no one is angry at rtc workers. They are in fact supporting them saying what was promised to them should be given.
