What if women practise hypergamy? If a man had the choice to marry someone with a job or someone without a job, clearly seems like he would choose the former based on TS's post. If men are not gold diggers, then what are they?

Clearly all the males are suggesting that it won’t work. It is clear who is really doing it. Most of the choices that men supposedly ‘get’ are women who are not above them in the hierarchy.

It's not about whom they get, it's about whom they want. If there are excess women with high paying jobs, then their demand will go down. The only reason women are able to practise hypergamy as you call it is because more men have high paying jobs than women in high paying jobs. If men had a choice, they would rather want to have a woman who is more qualified than someone who is not.

So why are they not getting high paying jobs? Are you saying that they are less talented? @3$%

No, it's because of a lot of factors, starting from female infanticide, gender stereotypes, less women in STEM, gender pay gap etc.

There are more women in the US than men and most have been part of the workforce since the world wars at the very least. If women are so much more cheaper to hire then why are companies not hiring them and reducing male work force? They are profit making entities after all.

Who makes those decisions? As in hiring, higher management decisions?

Yeah right, people are sitting in board rooms not thinking about their bottom lines but maintaining gender superiority. Peddle more illogical conspiracy theories.

Like I said, if there aren't enough women doing well career wise, there will be high demand for them. Just the fact that there are women out there who are doing equally well bursts your theory about them not being talented. Besides, the high demand for career oriented women tells you that men prefer women that way, they are marrying them for the looks like you say.

I am bursting your theory of gender pay gap. If women are cheaper and more talented then organizations wouldn’t need men at all. It doesn’t take much to train them too. So what is it then that there is gender pay gap or that women are less talented? It is an either/or situation.
