Ofcourse there are mandates, they just don't put it out like they do in India. Every University has a percent of admission it gives out for people of color. All federal government jobs are given out at a ratio, you get a certain score for your race and gender (white men get the least score and women of color get the highest score) and you're only called for an interview if your score is over 90 (the score is computer generated, a combination of your education, experience, race and gender) Just because they don't put it out like they do in India, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You will understand if you work for the US Government, most positions are filled by people of color and minorities. The same cannot be said about India. In fact most positions are filled by people of upper castes.

Every university can decide for itself. Not mandated and overseen by government. Federal jobs cannot be compared to Indian government jobs as they are not the most sought after.

How many are democratic republics? They are still a minority right? Not just governance, even if it is not an enforcement, people are indoctrinated to follow the hijab voluntarily. Have the mullahs stopped preaching it in those democratic republics?

Abolish hijab and marry 1 at one time, then yes, Islam is a religion I can comprehend.

democratic Islamic republics are the expression of the will of its people. And if they don't mandate hijab, it means most muslims living in those republics don't want it to be mandated, and leave it to the choice of the said faamily or the girl.

Islam will still be a religion, whether you can comprehend it or not. Even with all its problems, its no better or worse than any other major religion.

how do they quantify individual struggle and overcoming of invisible barriers?

if you are for economic reservations, do you realise only 20% of Indians in urban areas earn more than 15k/mo ? so can we have 80% reservations for those under privileged. or how would go about designing an affirmative action system?

By writing Statement of Purpose. Every application is thoroughly scritinized.

Yes, absolutely. Every one under the poverty line should be eligible for reservations or government aid.

Its the worst way to screen students. Standardized tests are way better, along with reservations..

you have no idea what you are saying. If GoI had that kind of resources, reservations wouldn't even be a problem. They can simply increase number of seats by a huge margin.

The only religion with serious human rights violations and oppression of women. Sorry not a religion for me. Humanity would be better off without such atrocious one.

Bro, I understand acceptance is required for some to be happy, but you can't lead your life pleasing everyone. If you do, you will regret it later in life.

GOI is capable of many things but is busy buying votes from castes. It is a feedback loop. If you willing to cut the loop from the root, get rid of caste.

Since early 1980s, the once regal and majestic Kshatriyas were soon degraded to tyrant, lecherous but powerful feudal lords. It kind of began with Raj Kapoor’s ‘Prem Rog’. Labeled as ‘India’s Showman’, Raj Kapoor is also notorious for grossly stereotyping the Hindu community as promiscuous, tyrant folks. If one has seen Prem Rog, they’ll know how they’ve defamed the Kshatriya community by showing Raza Murad as a tyrant Thakur, who lusts on his younger brother’s wife and even goes to the extent of raping her, while conveniently hiding behind the façade of customs

Hindu Bollywood

Meet Tilak wearing Kali worshiping tyrant, murderer Thakur Durjan Singh

The stereotyped Thakur in every random movie would terrorize villagers, lust on young women, and murder anybody who tried to raise a voice against them. What began with Prem Rog, was soon undeservedly popularized by Amjad Khan in the rather cringeworthy ‘Himmatwala’, where he portrayed the role of Sher Singh Bandookwala, who terrorizes the village and forces the protagonist’s father, a schoolmaster to abandon his family.

If you think the above two were just characters, nothing else, then take a look at this:-

Bhagwat Chaudhary [Ram Teri Ganga Maili]:- Lecher, Trafficker

Thakur A M Singh [Dance Dance, 1987]:- Rapist, Murderer

Thakur Bhupendra Singh [Aaj Ka Arjun, 1990]:- Tyrant, Murderer

Barrister Indrajit Chadha [Ghayal, 1993]:- Lecher, Charlatan

Thakur Durjan Singh [Karan Arjun, 1995]:- Tyrant, Murderer

Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh [Shaurya, 2008] [This stereotype is unforgettable]:- Tyrant

Dukey Bana [Gulaal, 2009]:- Tyrant, Murderer

Thakur Bachcha Lal [Dabangg 2, 2012]:- Tyrant, Murderer

Ramadhir Singh [Gangs of Wasseypur, 2012 ] – Tyrant, Murderer

not only thakurs almost all hindu castes showed in a bad light for example Dalits as some sort of pick pocketers

Do Bollywood directors, actors have balls to show the same with Muslims except those fancy terrorism movies like ek tha tiger salman khan and director khan does and whitewash Pakistan.....

So you are saying one of the most progressive countries is doing it wrong and should follow the Indian way to filter the students. Jennifer Lopez Reaction GIF by NBC World Of Dance
